Finding the right option is a case of trial and error, highly personal. Try and find something that works for you.

• Menstrual cup (the popular one in the UK seems to be the Moon Cup)

• Period pants (Wuka or Modibodi – untested brands, let us know if you test them)

• Cloth pads (untested – several options, including Bambaw)

• Organic/plastic free disposable pads (e.g. Natracare, found at Waitrose, H&B, and the GoodClub).
